The Vaping Alphabet

As some of you know, Erin Mills made a post saying "J is for JUUL" on Twitter. I decided to come up with a whole vaping alphabet!

A is for Aspire. Aspire has created various products that have great functionality and are quite user friendly! Aspire has created the Nautilus tanks, the Pockex AIO kits, the Cleito tanks and much more!

A is for atomizer. An atomizer is the same name for a coil, check out “C”!

B is for building. Building coils is a tedious yet rewarding task, that requires the individual to understand Ohm’s Law, how different wires react, and how to wick their coil!

C is for coils. Coils come in a variety of resistance, variety of size, and variety of wattage range! Some people build their own!

D is for Dovpo. Dovpo is a company that was established in 2006, who has created 600,000 products a month!

E is for e-cigarettes. E-cigarettes are devices that look like a cigarette, hit like a cigarette, but without the combustion of a cigarette! These devices are different than vapor products, and that information is crucial to our industry!

E is for e-liquid. E-liquid contains vegetable glyercin, propylene glycol, natural and artificial flavorings, and if you choose, nicotine.

F is for flavors. Flavors are a staple in helping people quit smoking cigarettes. From my survey of 2,900 individuals, 45.7% of individuals quit using tobacco products by vaping fruit flavors, 30.1% quit using dessert/food flavors, while tobacco flavors are at a mere 3.3%.

G is for glass. Most tanks are made from pyrex, which is glass. Be careful with your device!

H is for HellVape. HellVape is an atomizer company, they specialize in rebuildable atomizers and tanks!

I is for Innokin. Innokin was founded in 2011 and has grown significantly. Fun fact, the Innokin MVP 2.0 was my first real box mod!

J is for juice. Juice is the same name for e-liquid! Check out “E”!

K is for KangerTech. KangerTech was established in 2007, making them another staple in the vaping industry. They have plenty of products such as the KangerTech SubBox Kit, the KangerTech Subvod Kit and so much more!

L is for listening. Listening to a customer’s concern is such a huge role in the vaping industry to ensure we are getting the best device for a customer!

L is for learning. Learning about your device and asking questions ensures that your product will be safe!

M is for mod. There are various types of mods, such as built in battery mods, dual battery mods, and mechanical mods. The mod is the battery portion of the vaporizer.

M is for money. The initial expense of vaping can range upwards of $200 on average, but after that, lots of savings!

N is for nicotine. Nicotine has a molecular formula of C10H14N2. Nicotine has a boiling point of 476.1 degrees Fahrenheit at 745 mm HG. The melting point is -110 degrees Fahrenheit. Nicotine is a plant alkaloid. The Central Nervous System finds nicotine to be an addictive stimulant that causes ganglionic stimulation or blockage depending on the dosage of nicotine. Nicotine may be mediated through the release of various neurotransmitters including dopamine and serotonin. With high amounts of nicotine, you can see tachycardia and elevated blood pressure.

O is for o-rings. There are o-rings on tanks and RDAs to help ensure leaking doesn’t happen! Check your o-rings to make sure there are no tears and that they are seated correctly.

O is for Ohm’s Law. The law states that electric current is proportional to voltage and inversely proportional to resistance. Voltage=Current x Resistance (V=IxR)

P is for PMTA. The PMTA is the Pre-Market Tobacco Application. This is a guidance from the FDA to regulate tobacco products that enter the market for consumers to purchase. The PMTA sounds like a good idea, until they put insanely ridiculous testing on products and want to charge hundreds of thousands of dollars to test devices, tanks and e-liquids.

Q is for quality. The quality of a device will determine how long a device will last for! Ask your local vape shop for the best quality device!

R is for resistance. The resistance is the ohm of the coil. Resistance is a measure of the opposition to current flow in an electrical circuit.

S is for safety! When we discuss safety, we are looking for damaged devices, damaged batteries, battery charging and wattage range.

T is for time. Spending time with your device and asking questions means a better vaping experience!

U is for understanding. Understanding how a device works, understanding how the tank works, and understanding your options allows for you to enjoy vaping!

V is for vaping. Vaping is the action or practice of inhaling and exhaling the vapor produced by an electronic cigarette or similar device. Vaping is an action.

W is wick. The wick is the cotton inside of a coil.

X is for xenial. Xenial is described as “a friendly relationship between two parties.” This is applicable in vape shops, as usually there is a friendly relationship between the customer and employee!

Y is for year. Every New Year, a huge resolution is to quit smoking. It’s absolutely attainable by switching to vaping!

Z is for zingy. Zingy means “pleasantly stimulating.” Vaping should be zingy for someone trying to quit tobacco products!

I hope you all enjoy the Vaping Alphabet! If you have suggestions to add to this, feel free to message me and let me know!

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!
